Join us for an experience like no other! Blend & pour your very own candle by yourself or with friends. Interested in a private party? See below.

THE PROCESS

  1. Learn the background on fragrance - we'll teach you how notes and fragrance families work together harmoniously for your unique scent
  2. Select a vessel - all vessels we offer will produce a 14-16 oz. candle. We offer a variety of glass and ceramic vessels for you to choose from. 
  3. Discover your scent - you'll begin your scent journey by taking a whiff of our 25 blending fragrances and selecting the three that resonate with you the most.
  4. Sip - we will provide a delicious mocktail and ice water during the candle lab experience. Please let us know beforehand if you have any allergies by emailing candlelab@shopsmalldog.com

CANDLE CURING

  • Candles poured during our Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoon experiences are available for pickup the following business day. Your candle will take 1-3 hours to set properly for transportation. 
  • Coming in from out of town & can't make the trip back to pick up your candle? No problem! We offer shipping directly to your doorstep.
    • The shipping cost can be calculated before by emailing candlelab@shopsmalldog.com or during your scheduled event time.
  • Candles will be held for 14 business days. Candles not picked up within 14 business days will be resold and profits donated to a local charity. 

PRIVATE PARTIES

  • To schedule a private party, please email candlelab@shopsmalldog.com or call/text the store 815-201-6260. 

MORE DATES & FUTURE AVAILABILITY

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY AGREEMENT

RESCHEDULING

  • Rescheduling must be made within 48 hours of your scheduled event time.
  • To reschedule with less than 48 hours of your scheduled event time, please email candlelab@shopsmalldog.com.

CANCELLATION

  • Cancellations must be made within 48 hours of your scheduled reservation time to receive a full refund, no exceptions.
  • Cancellations requested with less than 48 hours of your scheduled reservation will be refunded at 50% of the total cost. To cancel with less than 48 hours notice, please email candlelab@shopsmalldog.com. 
  • Cancellations made after rescheduling a previous class will be refunded at 50% of the total cost.

NO SHOW POLICY

  • In order to keep the class up to speed, guest/s arriving more than 10 minutes late will be considered a no-show and subject to cancellation. For late arriving guest/s, Small Dog Candle Co. reserves the right to determine if your reservation will be canceled or rescheduled.
  • No-show reservations determined by Small Dog Candle Co. to be canceled, will not receive a refund.

LATE SCHEDULING

  • Reservations made within 48 hours of the scheduled start time will not be subject to change or cancellation. 

ADDITIONAL GUEST/S

  • Due to limited seating, additional guest/s to the reservation may or may not be accommodated.
  • Additional guest/s will be required to pay $45.00 prior to scheduled start time if determined that seating capacity will accommodate the additional guest/s.
